We went up to the Mall of Georgia last week and came across some really crazy deals at Crazy 8. One of the things we picked up, was this super cute vest. Perfect for this beautiful Spring weather! Boo likes it because it's got pockets, I like it because it's super bright...she really stands out in a crowd! :)

THERE IS A ROCKER...
There is a rocker in Bailey's room. It's the same one that I would rock her to sleep and feed her in as an infant. Around the time Boo was 6 months old, that rocker served another function...the spot where I would read to her. So, for the past 3.5 years, I've read her (probably) hundreds of books....sitting in this exact rocker. Now, even though I still read to her in this spot, Boo has taking it upon herself to "read". She can truly only read about 10 words; the rest she just recites from memory...which is pretty darn cute because sometimes her memory (or maybe it's because the book is new and we've only read it once or twice) isn't always dead-on so she just makes it up as she goes. It's awesome to watch....

HAPPY...DAY OF LOVE
That's what we call it at our house, at least Tom and I do. The "Day of Love". I'm not sure when we started that but...it's been several years and it's just kind-of stuck. I guess we just took the day and made it special for us :) Yeah, I know...sappy.
Anyway, Boo had a party at school today. The kids LOVE having parties because (typically) it means some really good treats! :) The moms who volunteered for this one did a great job with some finger food and then a frosted cookie that each child got to decorate on their own. HUGE hit!
In the hallway of her school, each child had a card that said "blank" is my valentine because I love them. I walked down the hall smiling as I looked at several children who said "Mommy" and "Daddy" and even a few "Brother or Sister" was their valentine...and then I get to the paper for our baby girl and I started laughing. What does she have written down? That her BEAR is her valentine...because she loves him very much. For those of you who really know Bailey...I know you're laughing along with me. Gotta love her.

BYE BYE..."DYE DYE"
At our home, we've never been big on "baby words" but, we did have a few with one being for the word diaper. Instead of diaper, we've always said "dia dia" (sounds like dye dye). Flash forward to age 4 and Bailey is all done with the "dia dia". She hasn't worn a diaper (during the day) since age 2 and she transitioned to pull ups (at night) around age 3.
For the past year we would have 3 or 4 dry nights a week, then we might have two weeks of dryness and I'd think she'd be ready for big girl panties at night but...nope, then she'd wake up wet. Well, it's been about 2 months since her last wet night so, we're making the leap! What a big girl! She was very excited to get her new big girl night-night panties (they have a little extra padding to help just in case we have an accident). Her pull-ups weren't really thick so I don't think the night panties are a hugs comfort difference on bulk but, they are softer and....huge bonus, they are washable!! :) Yea!

Throw that dia dia away! :)

SPRING FEVER....
We're ready for some warmer weather. It doesn't have to be hot because, to be quite honest, we don't like it hot either. We like...no we LOVE Spring weather. Nice, sunny, maybe 68 or 70 degrees...perfect. But, until that happens, we'll do our best to jump on those beautiful, sunny, winter days...like this past weekend. We got a chance to spend some time at a park down in Newnan. Heavy coats on but, Bailey still had a great time. Actually...the kids are almost always fine, it's us adults that freeze :)

HOW MUCH CAN YOU LOVE...
Do you ever wonder how much you can love? If your love is limitless? Growing up, I thought I loved deeply. I loved God, I loved my family...I even loved a couple of boys that I dated. I loved. But then, I got married and had this beautiful girl and now I know...my love is limitless. She brings out the deepest love in both Tom and myself. Not only for her, but the two of us for each other. She also makes us realize just how much Christ loves us. Amazing how one person could do that. Then again....that's just how great our God's miracles are. Limitless in their love...
