Bailey LOVES her bear. She's her very best friend (Evan is a close second :). Bailey brings bear in the car everytime we go somewhere and she sleeps with her every night. We try not to let her bring bear into stores and such....really out of fear of loosing the her! The other day, Boo got an outfit for her bear. A Tinkerbell outfit. She got to pick it out herself and she absolutely loves it. That's one lucky bear!

READY...SET...PLAY BALL!
Bailey's first Tball game was yesterday. It was cute, funny and FREEZING! Poor Boo, I put every coat on her that I could find in the van along with her uniform (which was so funny because the shirt itself comes down to her knees :). Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure a few kids (and adults) ended up sick as several were not prepared for the weather....I mean the week before we were soaked in sweat!
Boo did great. She got to bat twice and hit the ball both both times. Now...running to the bases was a different story. While Bailey generally LOVES to run (it's hard to stop her), something about having to do it for a sport...yeah, she's just not interested. The team has three coaches and one of the coaches has really taken to her; she's so sweet. She very patient and actually took Bailey's hand a couple of times and "helped" her run to the base.
From the day...I think Boo's favorite part was snack time :) I was responsible for snacks this game and had brought juice, cheese-n-crackers and cookies....all of Bailey's favorites. Well...snacks and finding out that the dirt was still in the outfield :)

LAZY DAYS OF SPRING...
Okay...so not that lazy :) We've had some beautiful weather lately, which means we've taken every opportunity to be outside. This past week, we took Bailey to a large park that has a long bike trail and two large play grounds. She had a blast! Daddy had to (almost) run to keep up with her on the bike....of course, Mommy could handle it while walking backwards taking a picture :)

TBALL!
This week, Bailey started Tball. Technically, they call it softball but they do start out on the T. It was really cute to watch. Bailey is the youngest in the group and she really has no idea what's she's doing so, it was pretty sweet :) The coach explained that the first half of the season, they spend most of their time asking the girls to stop playing in the dirt. Bailey was no exception...she spent sometime in the "outfield" and after about 2 minutes realized there was tons of dirt (and rocks and sticks...) around her to play with :)
They learned how to throw and catch, how to hit and how to round the bases. Now...saying all that, the girls were asked to run the bases and Bailey was about the 6th girl to go (they let one girl go and then about 1/2 way to first base, they'd let the next girl go). So...it's Boo's turn and she's about 1/2 way to first base when she realizes that a couple girls are almost to second so...she cuts over and starts running to second. Then, half way there, she realized that a few girls were almost to third so...she cuts across and heads towards third. I'm guessing you can imagine what happened next :) That's right...she saw another girl heading towards home plate so she cut across again and headed home. It was hilarious. I wish we had brought the video camera. Another time, the coach had Bailey hit the ball and then told her to drop the bat and run to first. Well, Boo hits the ball and drops (actually throws the bat)...then she sees her ball and she runs towards it, picks it up and holds her hand up in victory. It was too funny! Maybe we'll bring the video camera next week :)
All in all...she was pretty tired by time practice was over (then again, practice was for an hour and it doesn't end until 7pm), but she seemed to have a good time.

IMAGINE IT!
We made a trip back to Imagin It! Altanta's Children Museum. While I think it's a bit expensive (we were able to find some discount tickets), it is a lot of fun for kids of Bailey's age. We stayed a couple of hours and Boo had a great time. What a super way to spend a Saturday morning :)

Happy Birthday Evan!
Yesterday, Evan turned 4. Bailey was excited to tell her friend that she was now 4, just like her :) Bailey loves Evan. There's no other way to say it. She tells me that all the time..."I love Evan; she's my best friend". For Evan, the feeling is mutual. This girls are wonderful to watch together.
Glenna and Tony bought the girls matching Little Einsteins shirts (Evan's favorite characters and the theme of the day) with their names on them....too cute! Bailey's wearing hers again to school today :)
Happy Birthday Evan! We love you!
Thanks for the pictures G!
