Trick or Treat....

Tonight was Bailey's first try at trick or treating. We met Evan (aka Tiger) at the Douglasville mall....along with a few thousand other people :) It was a bit crowded and pretty warm but still, I think the girls had a great time!
Hope your night was spooktacular as well!

Disney magic...

This past week we spent a few days at Disney. I have to say, it was too short of a trip. We were on a budget, so we only went for a few days....not something we'll do again. I think you really need a good week at Disney to be able to enjoy, and relax, with a toddler. It was VERY hot while we were there which made coming back to Atlanta (and cooler fall weather) a little easier :) Having said that...we had a really great time :) Bailey is like her momma, she LOVES Disney. Yia Yia and Popo got to come as well so, that made is extra special. Below are just a FEW of the pictures we took while she was meeting her "friends" as she calls them. There's also two short videos. What we didn't video, was her dancing around at the campfire (with Chip-n-Dale)...seriously hilarious! Oh...and when she'd see her "friends" coming around the corner towards her, she would get sooo excited. Almost like a groupie :) But then, they'd get to her and she would act all shy. It was too funny.

Enjoy!

THE ROCK....

Let me start by saying sorry... MASS PICTURE ALERT! :) We went to a place called The Rock Ranch. It's actually located in The Rock, Ga :) The owners of the ranch also own Chick-fil-A and they have carried their faith in Christ over to this venture. I'm not sure how long the property has been open but it's very, very pretty. Took us about 1.5 hr to get down there, but the day was beautiful (actually ended up getting so warm that I had to switch shirts for Boo) and we had a really great time. Bailey got to experience a few firsts today: swinging on a big girl swing (a swing with no back, mommy was only inches away and we barely let her move/swing but...it was still a first :), she drove a tractor (okay, battery operated but still...), rode a pony (loved it so much she did that twice!) and ran through a corn maze. Now that last one, the corn maze....if you ever want to be completely exhausted (note I said you, not your child) then take your 2 year old to a corn maze on a sunny 85 degree day....you will be exhausted 1/3 of the way through; and then you still need to find your way out!

At the farm they also had slides, a jumpy house, goats to feed, paddle boats and a train. As I said...I really great day. Here's their website in case you're interested: http://www.therockranch.com/. It doesn't say it on their website but, the staff told me they had something at Christmas called "The road to Jerusalem"...might be worth checking out!

Lots of love to you all!

Nothing better...then time with my friend.

Yesterday, Glenna and I took the girls to the soccer field/park. It was a beautiful day and the girls had a great time. Bailey loves her friend. The two of them have such a sweet bond. We're excited to see what the years bring...for the most part. Glenna and I were discussing the teen years and neither of us is too excited for those :)

Love you all!
