Rain and warm banana bread....

We've had a really rainy week in here Atlanta, but the Siver family has a lot to be thankful for. Several homes in our area were flooded and while our back yard was a small river, our home made it through with only minor injuries. We are so thankful for God's hand of protection!

Yesterday afternoon, we had some more rain showers so Bailey and I took the opportunity to make some banana bread....well, actually mommy made the bread and Bailey enjoyed eating it :)

Picture Perfect.....

This is the latest picture taken at The Picture People. We've had Bailey's pictures taken there since she was 3 months old; our only regret, is that we did not have them take her newborn pictures. They always do a really good job (when Boo cooperates :). This picture, she has their darn bear in her arms...this is her third picture with that silly bear. She loves that thing, almost as much as her own night-night bear.

Hope you all had a great week!

Evan's your friend....

Bailey got to have a play date with Evan today....she loves it every time. Each time she mentions Evan, she'll smile and say, "Evan's your friend" (she means "her" friend). It's the cutest thing :)

We took the girls to a new place to play today, it was an "indoor playground" with slides, toys and a large inflatable jump house. The girls had a great time and both Glenna and I are convinced that now, not only do we need to live next door to one another, but we need to have this type of play room in one/both of our homes :)

Bailey proudly wore her FL Gator shirt...just so Evan would know that Gators are AWESOME! :)

Hope you all had a great week!

Labor Day....

This past weekend, for Labor Day, we went down to visit YiaYia and Popo who are staying in Panama City Beach, FL for a few months. Tom didn't go with us this time (he was off to a UofF football game...yeah, he was real torn up) but, it was a great visit none-the-less. Bailey loves the sand and water...we had to watch her carefully because she was determined to go into the ocean "by myself" she would tell us :) Lucky for us, the green flag was up (which means the water is calm) so this trip I did take her out a few feet into the ocean (usually it's just an ankle level).

Below are several pictures, including the last one where Boo looks like such a big girl with braids in her hair (first time doing that!).

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!
