FATHER'S DAY AT LAKE LANIER...

This year we celebrated Father's Day, camping at Lake Lanier.  We had a great time.  Bailey made friends with the boys next door...boys whose folks just happen to own a boat so Boo and daddy got to go out on the lake Sunday, while brother slept and mommy enjoyed some quiet time :0)

I praise God for the men in my life.  My father (aka Popo), whom I had to wake up early Sunday morning as I was seeking his wisdom and an impromptu RV 101 class.  My wonderful husband who is my best friend and an amazing daddy to our two little miracles.  And my beautiful son who is, hands down, my favorite little man.

Happy Father's Day...

A beautiful sunrise view at our campsite...

Our sweet girl...looking much older then her 7 years...

You know it's early, when you're wearing shades because of the sunRISE :0)

Catching fireflies! :0)

She's really getting the hang of her skooter!

View from my chair, during "quiet time".  Not too shabby :0)

FAMILY DAY, LEGO WAY...

With Tom's work schedule, family days have become super important around our home.  On the days he does work, he gets to spend very little time with us...and that stinks.  So, we've started to take advantage of any free/cheap activity that will help entertain our little ones, make wonderful memories and allow us to spend time together as a family.

Yesterday, it was the Legoland Discovery Center in the morning (free tickets through a promotion on Amazon..yay! :0), and dinner at church after a week of VBS for Boo (she had a blast!).

Not loving Tom's work schedule, but so incredibly thankful that he has a job that provides for our family and definitely loving the family time we do get on his days off.

IMAGINE IT!...

I was able to get a really cheap price, on 4 tickets to Atlanta's Children's Museum... so off we went for another great trip :0)  I took these pics with my phone, so they are not the best (especially with the super bright flash that can make eyes glow!)...but still, I was able to capture the moments.

Awesome. Family. Day.

Such a wonderful blessing.

Watching sissy, to see how it's done :0)

Love Boo's face here...
she was having so much fun :0)

Not too bad for 2 years old!

The moon dough was a huge hit... with everyone :0)

Family photo... complete only, of course, with the tongue :0)

ZOO FUN...

Last year I purchased a zoo membership and it's been great, we've gotten several trips out of it with 8 or 9 visits. This past Thursday I took the kids once more, before the membership ended.  We had a great time!  The weather was nice, the crowds were not bad and Boo got a special treat (or should I say the giraffe did?)... see pics below.

She actually got to feed TWO giraffes! :0)

Such a big boy!  Yes... I was holding onto his thigh :0)

My beautiful miracles... so incredibly thankful for my life...
