Easter Egg Hunt....

Yesterday we traveled 1.5 hours south to Rock, Ga and "The Rock Ranch". They were holding an Easter egg hunt so we thought we'd take Bailey down for her first ever try at racing other kids for a bunch of plastic eggs :) It was pretty chilly and very windy when we got there, but it ended up being a very nice day. Bailey had a great time meeting the Easter bunny, hunting for eggs, visiting the animals and playing at the playground. Several pictures below...but only a few of the 120+ that I took :)

Hope you all had a wonderful week!

Beautiful Sunny Saturday....

We had a BEAUTIFUL Saturday....the weather was perfect. Sunny, mid-70's, no humidity. Perfect, perfect, perfect. To take advantage of the day, we traveled 45 minutes South to a couple of towns where we shopped, walked and went out to dinner. YiaYia and Popo joined...like I said, a perfect day :)

Lots of love to you all!

New Minnie Dress...

A couple of weeks ago, YiaYia bought Bailey this cute Minnie Mouse dress. Well, Bailey LOVES anything Disney or girlie so....this was a double bonus gift! :) She loves it!! When I put it on her, she had to dance all over (she loves to twirl in dresses :).

Thanks YiaYia!

Tired after all the twirling! :)

T-ball and Swinging... Spring is a comin'!

This weekend we finally got above our (apparently) "normal" 40 degree weather and we were able to brave the outdoors! Yeah!! Outdoors for our family typically means the park, a walking path or our front yard...this weekend it was our front yard (and the garage).

First, the garage: While on the hunt at local consignment sale, I found a swing. It's the type of swing that most people hang from a tree or maybe a backyard jungle gym. But, since we don't have either of those (we have lots of trees, but none with low branches) we decided to hang the swing in our garage. Double score because this way Boo can use it when it's raining or too cold outside which is a huge bonus because the girl LOVES to swing! :) Popo came over and installed (secured it into the ceiling/studs) the swing for us and Bailey loves him even more, if possible, now. Thanks Popo!

As for the yard....the t-ball game came out! I'm so excited to sign Bailey up for t-ball (next year, she has to be 4). The idea of her in a little t-ball outfit/shirt with her other little teammates....too cute! We bought this little set last year and she got a kick out of it. Since this was the first time this season taking it out, Daddy gave Bailey a little refresher. She would have much rather done it on her own (as her face in the first picture probably shows), but the refresher paid off and she was thrilled! After t-ball, we walked around on the grass (she was so excited to get to do this....can you tell we've been indoors for a while? :) and Bailey picked "flowers" (aka: weeds). It was a great day....

Hope you've all had a wonderful week!
