Misjudged...

We've had a good week except for a minor incident at Chick-fil-A. Boo was playing on the playground and misjudged where her hand was...she fell and caught the side of her face on the (hard) stair :( Poor baby. She immediately looked at me and said "owie" and then started to cry. Breaks your heart when that stuff happens. I explained that it was an accident, that she had simply misjudged where her hand was (I only explained this because we are continually telling her to focus on her steps...it really is a miracle, that there have not been bigger boo-boos!). So, for the rest of the night she kept looking at me with this sad little face and saying, "misjudged?". My sweet baby girl. This was yesterday; today's she's totally over it and running around (again) like a crazy woman. Mercy...it's a good thing I color my hair because those greys are definitely coming!

Love to you all....

Disney....here we come!

We're getting ready for our (hopefully) annual trip to Disney. We've booked our room and even bought a new light weight umbrella stroller for the trip. Bailey was excited to tell Minnie and Mickey that she'd see them soon :)

Hope you had a wonderful week!

Tea with Georgia.....

Having a toddler is a lot of fun. They are creative, energetic and silly. This past week, I was in my office doing some work and went out to check on Bailey (who was playing in the living room); she had pulled her rocking horse (fondly named Georgia) close to her and was serving her tea :) She was carrying on an entire conversation with her....it was pretty darn cute.

Hope you've all had a wonderful week!

Lots of love from us..... oh (by the way) sorry, if the pictures look grainy; it must be something with the (blog) site because they look fine on my hard drive but, when I post them, they look grainy.

Note to self....do not open a sippy cup, at 10,000 feet.

It's true...a flight attendant may be able to open a carbonated drink on a flight, but this mom cannot open a sippy cup without a huge stream of water shooting into the air :)

This past week, we flew down to Florida to visit Tom's parents. This was Bailey's "first" real trip on a plane (she flew at 3 months) and she did really well. She had to make sure that her night-night bear was in the seat belt with her and that she had some books close by, but she did not start asking "all done?" until about 45 minutes into the flight (lucky for us, it was only a 75 minute flight :). This was also Bailey's first time seeing her other set of grandparents. The weather was very hot, but we had a really nice trip. It was good seeing them and they seemed to really enjoy their time with Boo. They even put up with a trip to the mall, so Bailey could play at the indoor playground. Also...the young girl in the photos below, is our niece (Bailey's cousin) Jessica. Bailey thought she was pretty neat :)

Hope you all have a wonderful week as well!

Summer Sprinkles...

Bailey loves the water. It doesn't matter if it's the bathtub, the ocean, a pool, the water park or a $3 sprinkler....she loves it all. Below are some pictures of this past week, out in our front yard. The one with Boo's backside cracked me up because what she had done, was stick every part of her body in the sprinkler (hand, arm, leg, tummy, etc); then it came time for her back and I guess her droopy bathroom suit didn't make the cut because she had to lift it up so the water could spray the top part on the back of her leg :-) Oh my gosh...it was so hilarious to watch! The last few photos, she carefully got a handful of water then walked it over to wash Daddy's hair (notice how intently she is trying to wash out the grey :-)

Hope you all had a wonderful week!
