BIG BOY...

In a big boy bed :0)   Broke this mama's heart to do it, but we made the transition from the crib to the big boy's bed and this little man is thrilled.  He LOVES it :0)   I have no idea why the pictures are formatted funny... hmmm....

He looks so tiny!!  Bed is a full size, just like Sissy's.

This was my toy box when I was a child and then my hope chest
as a young girl.  Had to paint it blue and get rid of the flowers of course :)

IS IT TIME YET?...

Our family is ready for camping season.... so when a neighbor was out burning leaves and Boo commented that it "smelled like camping", what else was a mama to do but suggest making our own small pile and roasting s'mores!  Huge bonus was that even though we were doing this at 7pm, it was still light and around 70 degrees!  It. was. AWESOME!

RECESS....

Yes, even with homeschooling... there is recess!

JUST ANOTHER SATURDAY...

Started with donuts out, then Touch-a-Truck, followed by Cotillion then softball and (finally) Costco.  Yep... just another Saturday :0)

TBALL...

Our little man cannot play tball until next year with Upwards Sports (SO excited for this... we really think he's going to love it!), but he's ready to jump in and start practicing now!  Softball starts next week for Boo; it may be a challenge to keep him off the field, haha :0)

Open mouth equals lots of determination :0)

MAN, WE WERE SPOILED...

Yesterday's weather was AMAZING.  Sunny and 72 degrees at our house... love, love, LOVED it!  I had a tough time dragging the kids back into the house, but after a good 2+ hours outside...I needed to make dinner and they were starting to get hungry :0)   Today's weather?  Yeah, not that pretty.  Definitely looking forward to warmer days, with (praying hard!) little to no rain.

SPENDING TIME...

with my beautiful sweet girl, who is nice enough to allow me to practice on her.  I'm not very good, so it takes me a while... but it's fun for mommy and boo liked this one so, win/win :0)

1/8" ...

of pure joy.  Love how kids get so excited, over something so simple :0)   B&B were THRILLED that we had some snow on the grass; they had to go out and play in it...first thing this morning.  Now they are praying that we get another 6"... Mommy is praying that we get 75 and sun, haha :0)

COLD TEMPS... HOT FOOD...

We've had some super cold temps lately however (much to the disappointment of the little miracles) no snow.  So last night we ventured out to a family favorite:  Golden Corral.  We only eat here a few times a year because it's a bit pricey, but it's nice to not have to wait on a server/the kitchen... instead the food it ready and you can eat whatever you want, as much as you'd like.  That last part is both a blessing and a curse...just ask daddy who complains every time that he ate too much, haha :)

Boo's favorite dish here, is actually the mac-n-cheese...
but she's okay with the dessert too :0)

And what goes better with dessert...than  some of  mommy's coffee?  :0)

PAINTING FUN...

With the cold weather lately, we've spent quite a bit of time indoors and painting is a great activity for my kiddos; both really enjoy it!  Boo likes to take her time and try to create something... little man's goal is to see just how much paint he can pile on the paper :0)
