Picnic with YiaYia

Bailey decided to have a "picnic" with YiaYia, so she sat her down in our dining room (which you can tell we don't use as Boo's highchair is still there and she hasn't used a highchair for several months.. :) Bailey then brought out all her food from her little kitchen in her room. She made sure to include her bear in the fun and even brought out the kitchen sink! The funny part was watching/listening to Bailey as she told YiaYia where to sit and what she was eating. Too cute!

Hope you've all had a great week!

Balloon fun...

Who knew a 99 cent balloon could be so much fun? Bailey got this balloon at the birthday party we went to a couple of weeks ago and she has spent hours playing with it! It's so true...why buy your children expensive toys when they are just as happy (or maybe even happier) to play with boxes, pots, spoon, paper and pens, and now....a 99 cent balloon :)

Park play...

In the never ending pursuit, to tire out our ever energetic three year old, we are always on the search for a good park. For us, a good park is one with both sun and shade, slides and swings. We found a great one down in Newnan; it's nice and large with hours of play opportunity. So, we went, we played and...we failed. Again. While Tom and I were both exhausted, Bailey was...well, shall we say...not so much.

I'd like to say the score is parents 0/child 1 however...I think it's closer to parents 0/child 248 :o)

Hope you've all had a great week!

Busy day....

Today was a busy day. It started with a birthday party at some friends of ours; their twins were turning a year old. We had a really great time watching the babies dive into their cakes and Bailey met up with one her playmates, Katie. The girls had a great time, especially in the bouncy house that was rented for the party.

Right after the birthday party, we drove over to YiaYia and Popo's house and then headed off to a festival (The taste of Douglasville). It was REALLY warm and sticky today but we got the chance to sample a few items from local vendors plus...Bailey got to ride a pony which was a huge hit :)

Then...we went to Target, came home and Bailey played in the sprinkler and now...we're heading off for a walk around the block. Am I trying to wear out my three year old...you bet! Will it work? Probably not :)

Love you all!

Note...more adults than children :)

Like mother like daughter...I think she loves these animals too :)

Heading home from the festival..

No greater blessing...

There are moments that change your life...good or bad, you are change. February 1st, 2007 at 6:34pm. That moment changed my life forever. While it had been years on the making, the actual moment was quick. This was the wonderful, amazing moment that Bailey was born. That's my moment, the moment that changed my life forever. The moment I became a mommy and, I can truly say....there is no greater blessing. I will praise God all the days of my life for our wonderful miracle.

This video was shown at Bailey's baby dedication, at my parents church, when she was 3.5 months old. A special note: not only were we at a church that my parents were pastors at, so they were able to do the baby dedication, but the day we had the dedication on....was Mother's Day. There is music so make sure your speakers are on :)

Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful women in life...

This is how we play soccer at our house. With a Tinkerbell soccer ball and an "Ella" (Cinderella) dress on :) It's Disney magic 24/7 at our house!

Sun, sand and water park fun...

We've had some really pretty weather here in Georgia this Spring. When I say "pretty", I mean warm....hot actually (today it was almost 90!). We took advantage of the weather at a nearby waterpark this afternoon, Bailey loved it. This particular park has sand so we were calling it, "Georgia's Ocean" :) Bailey does not know how to swim yet but, she's not afraid of the water. Even though the pool water was pretty chilly, she still braved it and had fun with her floats and the small kiddie water slides. We had a great time.

Hope you all had a wonderful week!

It's bright out here!
