TRICK OR TREAT...A LITTLE EARLY

Boo (appropriately nicknamed for this time of the year :) had a "fall festival" party at her preschool today. They played games (for candy of course), took a hayride and had a special lunch. She was super brave this year and let me paint her face....a very big deal for our (clean) girly-girl :)

Trick or treating tomorrow with BFF Evan at a local Mall. Yea Daddy says..."more candy!" :)

THE ROCK RANCH...

This past Saturday, I took Boo down to The Rock Ranch (http://www.rockranch.com/). We've been there a few times now, including last fall.

This year, they had the Veggie Tales characters, Bob the tomato and Larry the cucumber in for a visit. Bailey likes Veggie Tales so, this was fun for her :) Besides Bob and Larry, there is A LOT to do at The Rock Ranch. Unfortunately, Tom's back is really bothering him, so Mommy went it alone but...we still had a great time. The weather was perfect and we spent 4 hours going through the corn maze, riding the train, playing on the playground and big slide, jumping in the jumpy house, a pony ride and looking through their small town (made specifically for kids....it's an entire town with a church, bank, playhouse, etc...all small in scale but done really well). I think I'm leaving a few things out but, you get the idea :)

Uncle Cliff....

On our way to Disney, we stopped off to see Tom's brother, Cliff. He lives about 40 minutes outside of Orlando. It was the first time Cliff got to see Bailey; she really liked him. It was a great visit...unfortunately too short, but still a really nice visit.

DISNEY!

We just got back from our week at DisneyWorld. We had a GREAT time! Definitely could have stayed another week :) YiaYia and Popo couldn't make it this year, which made us sad but...Uncle Jeff and Aunt Rachel got to join us which Bailey really enjoyed. It was so cute listening to her talk with and ask for "Uncle Jeff and Aunt Rachel". I think she just liked saying their names :)

The weather was better this year. Still hot but we did not have the high humidity like last year which really helped. This year we stayed off property which afforded us a few extra nights. With that time, we were able to spend a couple of days just exploring Disney (more time at downtown Disney and we looked around a few resorts). We also drove this year so we had our car to get from place to place.

Last year, the roller coaster was "too fast" (Bailey's words) for Boo but....this year, she LOVED it!! Could not get enough! They have a kiddie roller coaster in Toontown which she road 3 or 4 times and we did one day at Universal where they too have a kiddie roller coaster; she road that 2 or 3 times. Next year, we're going to try Big Thunder Mountain at the Magic Kingdom and my guess is, she'll love that too :)

I took over 500 pictures, but tried not to go "too" crazy and only posted 11 below :)

Nap....what nap?

With 7 days in a week, a good 3 of them Bailey does not nap. Oh...I put her down to nap but, she'll just lay in there talking, singing, laughing at herself...anything other than actually sleeping. This week, she cracked me up because she had once again decided not to nap but, instead, was sitting up and had lined up all of her stuffed animals (aka "friends") in a circle around her. She was talking to them and giving them instructions. For a good 30 minutes, she had this "conversation" with her "friends". It was pretty cute :)

We're off to Disney tomorrow...update you when we get back!

FALL HAS ARRIVED!!

Well...it happened quickly (we went from 90 to 65 degrees in what...a week!) but, it's wonderful!! Fall has arrived and so has the cooler weather. Bailey jumped at the chance to put on her new "cute" coat and hat (she's such a little shopper :).

Play center...

This week I took Boo to an indoor play center (http://www.playactivitycenter.com/); she had a great time! She loved it all, especially the trampoline! There were lots of physical activities as well as story time, a small play kitchen, train area, chalk boards and much more. We spent over 2 hours there and I had to pull her away when it was time to go home!

Unfortunately, this facility isn't the cheapest and it's about 40 minutes away but, it's a great every-once-in-awhile activity :) We're planning a trip there in November with Evan and Bailey is already excited about that!
