1/8" ...

of pure joy.  Love how kids get so excited, over something so simple :0)   B&B were THRILLED that we had some snow on the grass; they had to go out and play in it...first thing this morning.  Now they are praying that we get another 6"... Mommy is praying that we get 75 and sun, haha :0)

COLD TEMPS... HOT FOOD...

We've had some super cold temps lately however (much to the disappointment of the little miracles) no snow.  So last night we ventured out to a family favorite:  Golden Corral.  We only eat here a few times a year because it's a bit pricey, but it's nice to not have to wait on a server/the kitchen... instead the food it ready and you can eat whatever you want, as much as you'd like.  That last part is both a blessing and a curse...just ask daddy who complains every time that he ate too much, haha :)

Boo's favorite dish here, is actually the mac-n-cheese...
but she's okay with the dessert too :0)

And what goes better with dessert...than  some of  mommy's coffee?  :0)

PAINTING FUN...

With the cold weather lately, we've spent quite a bit of time indoors and painting is a great activity for my kiddos; both really enjoy it!  Boo likes to take her time and try to create something... little man's goal is to see just how much paint he can pile on the paper :0)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO!!

Our sweet girl is 8 years old today... eight years old!  This mama can hardly believe it.  We've had an awesome weekend celebrating her... breakfast this morning at Cracker Barrel and her party with friends yesterday. Unfortunately, we had invited 6 girls and 4 of them cancelled on Friday (two sets of sisters/sick households). Bailey was crushed, but she rallied like a trooper and ended up having A LOT of fun with her party... note to self: only a couple of friends, means less tension and a lot of opportunity for three girls to talk, play and generally have a really great time with one another.

The girls had fun making HUGE snowflakes, decorating snowman cookies, eating, playing and watching Boo open her gifts.  It was a really great time.

Happy birthday miracle girl.  We are so thankful for you.  You bless us each and everyday with your sweet spirit, your kindness, your love for your family, your laughter and your funny sense of humor. We love you!

Our beautiful girl... the theme was Disney's "Frozen" :0)

The big 8!

Hmmm... can I eat that frosting?
