GETTING READY...

We're getting ready for T-Ball at our house. Bailey needs to be 4 years old before we can sign her up so, this Spring will be her first go at it! We're excited for her to be a part of a team (I think she gets to wear a uniform to her games...although I don't think it will include a fancy skirt or the pretty pink shoes:). In gymnastics, she has other kids in her class but the sport is definitely more on a individual one so t-ball should be a nice change!

Lots of love to you all!

THANKSGIVING PERFORMANCE

Bailey's school had a Thanksgiving performance this past Friday. It's the first time she's ever "performed" on a stage (that's not at home :) and she did great! It was wonderful to watch. Some of the classrooms were Pilgrims; the others (like Bailey's) were Indians. Video of one of the songs (they did three) below. Sorry...I'm not the best videographer. Also, the download made the picture a bit grainy but, you'll get the idea at least :)

Can you tell she wanted to wiggle away? Friends
were going to the playground and she wanted to go :)

Looking so grown up...

SOCCER FIELD AND TIME WITH BFF

About a week ago, Glenna and I took the girls to the soccer field (where they typically spend more time on the playground, then the soccer fields :). As always, it was a great time. Baby Quinn got in on the action this time too...with mom's help of course :)

DISNEY ON ICE AND...THE REAL MAGIC

Today I took Bailey to see Disney's Princess on Ice. It was wonderful! Tom is still resting his back, so it was just us girls. We really missed Daddy and are hopeful that if we get to go next year, that he'll get to go too. Tom however got to stay home and watch football ALL DAY LONG so, while he said he was bummed that he didn't get to go...I'm guessing that went away with the first game :)

Bailey had a GREAT time. She was mesmerized by the characters on ice. It was hard to get any photos of her during the actual show, because I couldn't get her to look at me long enough to take a decent photo. She just sat (or stood) there staring at the skaters as they performed. She got a kick out of the seven dwarfs and finally broke her silence for the end performance....Cinderella (or in our house "Ella" she's called....we're close friends :). Bailey LOVES Cinderella so when it was her time to perform...she was beside herself. I actually tried to take a video on my cell phone but, it was too dark for the picture to turn out. After the performance, we went outside to soak up some sun (another beautiful fall day) before the drive home (the show was down in Macon, Ga). All in all...a really great time.

As for the real magic....that's not Disney, that's "us". When I say "us", I mean Tom and I. Today we are celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. Twelve years of joy and laughter, fighting and tears (both good and bad), ups and downs, back and forths but most of all many, many blessings. Happy Anniversary Babe...I love you.

Just before the show started...

Bailey was like this the entire show...GLUED on!

Here she is showing "Ella" (aka Cinderella) that she too
knows how to hold her dress (she has one corner up like
Cinderella does at the ball...and Bailey is waiving to her :)
Good old Gus Gus and Jack

Binocular souvenir (I know...they could be cuter! Here
we are at Disney "Princess" on ice and she chooses these
"cute" binoculars with the mean old eels from the The Little Mermaid :)

A quick smile before heading back home...

OUR LITTLE PERFORMER!

First, big thanks to Tony for helping me with getting this video online :)

Here's our little performer...she cracks us up by putting on these little "shows". What we find so funny, is we've never shown or encouraged this, somehow it's just "in her". From about 18 months, Boo has been fascinated with microphones. When Mom and Dad had their church down in Alabama, Bailey would try and "eat" the microphone :) Then she figured out if she talked into it, that we could all hear her very loudly and well....she's been hooked since then. Heaven help us if Costco has a karaoke machine out on demo, she'll play with that thing until we pull her away :)

This particular video was taken on my cell phone and it may be a little shaky as I was laughing the entire time (seriously...tears running down my face). We've never told Boo to use a stage or any words to say, so we're not really sure where she gets all of this from. She'll watch a Disney video from time to time so, we're guessing that maybe at some point one of the videos had some type of performance. Bailey makes up her own songs, which my mom told me that she did and I can remember my baby brother Joshua doing the same thing so it could be in her genes. Either way....it's pretty darn cute, especially with Daddy's help on the drums :)

Enjoy!

I WEAR GLASSES...YOU WEAR GLASSES...WE ALL WEAR GLASSES

Okay, granted...they are 3D glasses from the Toy Story ride at Disney but still, a family that wears glasses together, stays together....or should I say, plays together :o)

Park fun with the BFF

About a week ago, Glenna and I took the girls to the soccer field. It was a beautiful fall day...warm enough for only a t-shirt :)

As always, the girls had a great time and....as always, Glenna and I are amazed at how quickly they are growing up.

Here's to the next 3.5 years!

Yes...that's mud on Evan's face :)

The girls found a drain and were trying to figure out
exactly what was down there!

Evan thought that maybe Bailey's glasses could fit...

Bailey didn't like that idea :)
