SNOW 2014...

The past (almost) 48 hours have been crazy!  Atlanta saw a decent snowfall, which means that everything came to a standstill (include Tom's commute home...which took him almost 26 hours!).  The only thing that didn't come to a complete stop?  My two miracles!  These kiddos both LOVED, LOVED the snow. Bailey has seen snow before, but she's still pretty young so her memory was that it was white and she liked it :0) However, those memories must have come flooding back because the moment it started snowing, she was bouncing of the walls with excitement!  She was SO, SO excited!  I wasn't sure what our little man would think of it but, true to his crazy nature...he too LOVED it!   He ran around it in, threw it, rolled around and scooched his way down the hill in it :0)

The snow "storm" of 2014 was definitely a big hit for the little people in our household :0)

 

 

 

LOVES...

Brandon seems to think, that anytime anyone is laying on the floor...there's reason for him to climb (or usually jump) on.  He'll tickle, pat, squeeze and give loves....especially when it's sissy, he loves giving the loves to sissy :0)

TOO QUIET...

I work a few hours a week from home and when I do, the kids are either resting or they need to entertain themselves.  One day this week, the kiddos were very quiet and (as any mom will tell you) usually that is a bad thing.... so imagine my surprise, when I turned and saw this :0)

WARP SPEED....

Seems like yesterday, that G and I were new mommies with these sweet girls. Now they are both staring birthday #7 in the face.  How can that be?  Warp speed I tell you... warp speed.  Someone please, break the accelerator, slow down the time, reduce the speed.  I am NOT a fan, on this warp speed.

HELLO KITTY...

For Christmas, Boo received this fun game...it's a Pictionary-style game by Hello Kitty.  She and daddy are quickly becoming pros at it :0)

A DAY TO REMEMBER...

Today we celebrated the life of Tom's father, John Richard Siver.  John passed away on January 1, 2014 at the age of 84.  John was a good man and it was good to remember him and to celebrate that he is now strong, healthy and dancing in the streets of Heaven.  Today was a day to remember... remember a man that we will never forget.  So until we all meet again John...thank you for the examples that you set.  Thank you for showing your family Jesus, for teaching us to be thankful and to not complain, and for sharing with us, your joy...

TWO OF A KIND...

My two little miracles, really can be... two of a kind.  And, no... I didn't set them up for these photos, I simply grabbed the camera :0)

CHOO CHOO...

Our little man LOVES his train table; he plays on it for a good part of the day. He pushes the train cars (and other cars) along while making these cute little sounds.  I love to watch his imagination at work... so much so, that I've purposely not put batteries in the train cars that can move on their own (we only have a couple of those).  I want him to have to perform the act of pushing the cars, rather than just sitting there watching a train go around the track.  I'd hate to miss out on hearing that sweet, "choo choo" and watching his beautiful little hands at work.  Now... if only we could get him to share the table with sissy :0)
