Stone Mountain

A couple of weeks ago Yia Yia and Popo asked to take Bailey to Stone Mountain (www.stonemountainpark.com); I crashed the party because I had the afternoon free :) Bailey had a great time riding the cable car and the train. We've taken her to The Rock Ranch (www.therockranch.com) a couple of times and I kept telling her that Stone Mountain was a big rock so, she started mixing up the two names and calling Stone Mountain, The Big Rock Stone Ranch :)

It was a good time. Next time we'll know to plan to be there all day long. This time we went during their twilight hours (last 4 hours the park is open) and that wasn't really enough time....of course, we also went during the week of Spring Break so I'm sure that didn't help our cause :)

Reading time....

Bailey loves to read. What's really cute is (starting at about 2.5 yrs old) she "reads" to herself. Most of the time she is reciting what I've read, but sometimes she just makes it up altogether...very cute! :)

Tom took this video a couple of weeks ago. He was laying on the living room floor with his cell phone trying to be sneaky so Boo wouldn't know that he was filming her :)

Hangin' with the girls....

We had some friends over this afternoon for a BBQ. It was a beautiful day and we had a really great time. Bailey got to play with her BFF Evan and another good friend, Katie. The girls did really great playing together...even sharing (with mom and dad's help :). They had some cute conversations and (what looked like) some funny secrets/jokes shared between them....very cute!

Happy Easter!

Today is a wonderful day, it's the day we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. Praise God for that gift! Another gift we praise God for, everyday, is our beautiful miracle... Bailey. Thank you Lord Jesus for your many blessings!
