AFTERNOON DJ...

Brandon LOVES the cd player in sissy's room.  If he sees her going down the hall, he quickly hurries (which is supper cute because he either crawls faster than any baby ever has, or he tries to "run" which is where I'm pretty sure they got the name "toddler" from :0)...he hurries to get into her room where he immediately starts saying "on, on".  Just this past week he figured out how to turn the cd player on :0).  He turns the music on, and then starts "dancing" (bouncing on his butt).  It's soooo cute.  This particular afternoon, sissy took a hat and put it on his head.  He wore the thing around for a good hour and now has figured out how to put it on all by himself.. pretty darn cute :0)

WHAT HAPPENS....

when you combine a morning shopping at a large consignment sale, followed by cheerleading with Upward sports, a trip to Costco and then a afternoon birthday party? For this newly 6 year old...that totals up to your first nap in over a year!  Poor baby...she couldn't even handle reading, fell asleep mid-way :0)

 

15 MONTHS...

Okay...so apparently no one broke the clock (or even took out the batteries!) because this little man is now (already) 15 months old!  This past month his words have really started to pick up.  Right now, Brandon can say:  mama, dada, sissy, yiayia, popo, cup, on, more, amen, tom (that one cracks me up), meow, book, ball, car, squirrel, sock, shoes, nose, eye, mouth, hair, ear, hi, bye, nigh-night, blanket, no.  Of course, he is only 15 months, so the pronunciation on a few of these can need a little translation but he is quickly fitting into this chatty family! :0)
